Party Dressing

Its alllllllmost time to hand in my coursework, put my uni books down and get into some real Christmas spirit! I have spent many hours sat infront of my computer in my pj's typing up  reports that I could not be more excited to put a party frock on and to head out.
I have my eye on some lovelies.. and you can never have too much Christmas dresses right?

Dog Days Are Over

Im going to see Florence and the Machine tonight and I am so excited. Eeeeek!
I am such a massive fan of hers, and not just for her music - booooyyy has she got style! Therefor I thought I would dedicate this blog post to Florence and her wardrobe.

Known for her fiery red locks Florence has built her style around her hair colour. Whether she's on stage, off duty or being pictured on the red carpet, Flo dresses in ecclectic pieces of vintage and designer to create her much coveted luxe-bohemian wardrobe. (She even makes dressing as a bloke look good in her latest video with Calvin Harris).

Her style credentials were proven when Frida Giannini announced that she would become the face of Gucci in 2011. Giannini stated, "I was thinking of a strong and somewhat mysterious muse. Florence is that kind of woman". Not only was Giannini smitten with Flo, but Karl Lagerfeld chose her to close the ready-to-wear spring/summer 2012 collection in Paris. Now thats a compliment if I ever saw one.

Christmas Wish List

According to my advent calendar it's officially 20 days until Christmas.. I still get overly excited like a 5 year old on Christmas day and wake my whole family up at the crack of dawn for bacon rolls and present opening.
So 20 days pretty much means its perfect timing to publish my present wish list, yes?!

Jumper Love

I’ve always had a slight obsession for knitwear and I usually find myself standing in topshop asking myself "do I reeeaalllyyy need another jumper?!" Maybe this is because I’ve grown up in the North East of Scotland where the winters' are freezing and the summers' disappointing. Speaking of freezing, the snow is now upon us which is making it a little bit harder for me to get out of bed in the mornings! Although not all is miserable – the cold weather gives me a great excuse to buy too many more jumpers and to lair up!
